A very funny (for kindergarten or early elementary school) graphic novel style children's book with big, beautiful pictures (they look just like the cover) and one or two sentences of text on each page. A few British English words might be unfamiliar to American readers ("torches" and "apple scrumping"), but the meaning is obvious when you see the pictures.
Be sure to encourage young readers to carefully study the clever illustrations. Notice, for example, how the bulletin board changes. I look forward to reading more books by James Tonizzo! Bravo!
