在不久的未來，美國開始出現一些有動物特徵的人，原來是父母吃飽了沒事幹，決定用基因改造技術把胎兒變得像貓狗之類的動物。故事中的主人翁Miara因為他是個貓女，所以常常遭到歧視，連出國旅行都很困擾，海關認為他是動物，不能隨便搭飛機！
