A collection of short science fiction stories connected with zoos, perfect for busy people
Book blurb:
From a ghost park to a time-travel penitentiary of murderers to a menagerie of Egyptian deities, Quantum Zoo presents 12 compelling stories involving 12 very different living exhibitions. Including a wonderfully atmospheric tale by Hugo- and Nebula-nominated Bridget McKenna. A wonderful volume of exciting, enthralling short stories from a dozen of the best new authors in science fiction and fantasy.Blogmeister says:
Bridget McKenna's story was indeed quite atmospheric, but a bit too predictable (because of how the author chose to name one of the characters. I'm being deliberately vague because I don't want to include any spoilers. Read it for yourself!)
The second story was about a zoo you would never want to be in!
The third story, Bestiarum (a zoo housed on a spaceship escaping from a dead Earth) was quite touching.
